July 22: INTERCULTURAL BODIES: Dance Collaborations Across Borders

Moderators: Anita Ratnam, Garth Fagan and Miriam Soto

Artists choreograph in the space between familiar and new cultural traditions creating distinctive intercultural vernaculars of movement. Conducted in an interview format, the session elicits a dialogue among bi-lingual choreographers, who have created new expressions from the conversations occurring both within themselves and between themselves and their audiences.
