Workshops / Arts-in-Education Workshop at Des Moines, Iowa, USA February 18, 2012, 12.30 to 3.30 pm The Gateway Dance Theatre (GDT) in Des Moines, Iowa hosted Anita Ratnam honoring the agency’s 40th anniversary - A 3 hour workshop on creativity and performance skills incorporating movement and dance, blending traditional Indian movement with more contemporary steps. Venue: The Gateway Dance Theatre Studio, 315 East 5th in downtown Des Moines. Photos: Eric Salman Responses  Anita Ratnam’s workshop was full, and really developed us in an unusual way- worked on our creativity and extended all of us. Her performance was quite a treat! We had a great audience, the auditorium was almost full, and was quite diverse by age, socio economic and ethnicity.
